A Prayer For Mercy; This should be our fervent Prayer always: “Lord, don’t hold back your tender mercies from me. Let your unfailing love and faithfulness always protect me.” – ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭40‬:‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Our Lord and Personal Saviour, Jesus Christ has paved the way for us to enter God’s throne with all boldness. At the throne, we receive mercy daily.

What The Bible Says On A Prayer For Mercy:

“So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe.

This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin.

So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Let us learn from this:

“Two men went to the Temple to pray. One was a Pharisee, and the other was a despised tax collector.

The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed this prayer:

‘I thank you, God, that I am not like other people—cheaters, sinners, adulterers. I’m certainly not like that tax collector! I fast twice a week, and I give you a tenth of my income.’

“But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying,

‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’

I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” – Luke‬ ‭18‬:‭10‬-‭14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Let the Prayer for Mercy be a part of your daily Prayer.
